About

Hello! My name is Jess, and I work full-time from my home studio in Leicestershire. This is where I create my whimsical forever flowers, seasonal gifts and externally sourced home decor, which you will find on my website.

My love of crafting and being creative has evolved through the years, from sewing little fabric hearts and mice, to making wooden boats, personalised button frames and much more!

I created my fabric tulips during the first lock down in April 2020 and their popularity has grown so much that this is now the main core of my business, alongside my felt blooms.

Me!

Why Tulip Laine?

The name Tulip Laine originated from the memory of my beautiful mum, who sadly passed away from Pancreatic Cancer in 2007.

One day, whilst poorly, I gave my mum a bunch of brightly coloured tulips and she told me that they had brightened her day. I have loved them ever since, as they made her happy and that is how I like to remember her.

My mum's middle name was Elaine, hence the spelling of Laine (I get asked about this a lot)!

Establishing Tulip Laine as a business has been a perfect way for me to keep her memory alive. With every order that we send, there is a sprinkling of love from us both.

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little about
 Tulip Laine.

Much love

Jess x
